CDM’s school-age program offers a structured, yet relaxed, experience in small groups with well-qualified teachers. Outdoor play, healthy snacks, homework time with help and center play with choices are available for our students.
When school is out of session, our school-age program is offered all day. On these occasions, teachers may plan field trips and special activities that enrich the day for students.
CDM offers summer camp for school-age children from kindergarten through middle school. Summer camp is a time for enrichment, enjoyment and a mix of indoor and outdoor play, structured so that students do not lose key academic skills over the summer.
CDM students engage in a variety of activities which may include cooking after shopping for food, sports, recycling, reading, and more. Field trips are taken each week for fun or for education. Examples of favorite field trips are bowling, the park, the aquarium, the beach, the Art Museum, and the Solid Waste Authority.
The emphasis in CDM’s Summer Reading program is respect for each other, community awareness and community service.
